  • 2012 Maribor Twelve. The city of Maribor, as the Cultural Capital of Europe 2012, hosted exceptional and leading personalities from various fields, ranging from the arts to philosophy. The common criterion was that all guests must be leading international representatives in their fields. The umbrella theme was “The Art of the Future”. Amongst others, present were Charles Simić, Jan Fabre, Tzvetan Todorov, Garry Kasparov and Hans Magnus Enzensberger. The talk was broadcast live on the internet and was televised by Slovenian National Television.
